Symphony 12 is not just a 12 color set. It is composed of custom colors not found in any where. These colors were composed to offer the widest spectrum , the most vibrant color, with the greatest saturation.

The benefits from the Symphony 12 color ink set are colossal. While not all images are going to gain by the use of multi-channel ink sets, the images shown below will have increased benefits of greater vibrancy and richer color. Symphony 12 color inks are comprised of the most vibrant colors over powering the  blending of the standard CMYK to reproduce the entire spectrum. When producing the print richer, purer and more vibrant colors can be blended to produce the image. Symphony 12 has specific colors for different industries. The most exciting is the Fine Art ink set with Burnt Sienna. This set will reproduce an incredibly wide spectrum of color, but it will reproduce colors of greater brilliance.  

For years we have been producing multi-channel inks for fabric printing and more recently have introduced a very dynamic brilliant 5 color set for Epson 8 channel printers and 12 color set for the Roland. A 5 color ink set means that there are 5 different solid colors, one beyond CMYK.

11 and 12 Brilliant Color Ink
for Multi-Channel Printers

The advantage of a multi-channel inkset is seen more often when you have colors in the image that closely match the colors of the inks. The reproduction will have more brilliance and may have greater depth do to the purity of color mix. Most images can be reproduced by a good 4-color ink set such as our Symphonic UltraMax II Photo Series, but when it comes to certain color shades of oranges, greens, purples, violets, teals, and deep browns, just to mention a few, multi-channel colors as in our Symphony 12 Series brings them forth with greater brilliance and depth.

As I have mentioned before, Symphony 12 is made up of specific shades of color that offer greater depth and brilliance. Each color on its own has value. Such as Crimson a deep Magenta Red that produces the richest and most brilliant Reds. Saphire Blue vivid rich shade that enhances purples and deep rich clean blues with liveliness. Lime Green is so brilliant it can maintain its value even on cloth, leaves look more dimentional. Aqua produces pure teal waters with no metamerism. It enhances deep leaves when mixed with Lime Green  Red-Orange enhances the brilliance of candy red and with Yellow and Crimson offers enormous shades of fall colors. Burnt Umber opens up the depth of shadows where only black could be used for the depth of color. We feel Symphony 12 has no peer in color and those who are using it more than pleased.

Multi-channel inks will be the way of the future for inkjet as they are the norm for fabric printing. I predict you will see more and more development in this arena. For now I would suggest that you look at our software and Ink sets to get the most you can from the printer you already have.
