We have been producing bulk ink refillable cartridges for over nine years with complete success as our clients will attest to their exemplary performance.
Refillable cartridges made in China offer low cost, but all to often their construction yields to leaking over time. We have had numerous complaints from perspective clients about the problems with Chinese cartridges. Some of their cartridges do not seat properly causing the chip not to be read. The 9800/9880 series is the most prevalent with these issues. They work with air pressure. As the ink decreases more air is forced into the cartridge causing the walls to push out. Eventually they can separate resulting in leaking. When any one cartridge needs an increased amount of air pressure air is pushed into each cartridge building up more pressure. These cartridges can only take so much pressure before thay burst.
We decided that it was time to produce a solid dependable structure that would last. The new 9800/9880 USA cartridge is carefully custom made as is our 4000/4800/4880/7600/9600 series. The 9800/9880 series bulk ink refillable cartridges are formed from Epson's own cartridges and will last for many years. They have a bottle that is plumbed from the cartridge that can withstand an incredible amount of pressure. They have a 11/8" cap and are positioned for easy refill. Obviously these cartridges cost more, but when you consider the ease of operation, the cost of loss of ink, waste of media, and production time from a cartridge failing, our AIC cartridges are less costly in the long run.
